Mission: The mission of Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is to rescue nationally and regionally donated food for distribution to Superior-Douglas County’s non-profit agencies and residents in need. One of 193 regional food banks nationwide, Second Harvest rescues enough food for Superior/Douglas County to provide 195,000 meals to the needy.

Service area:
Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland and Iron counties in NW Wisconsin.
St. Louis, Carlton, Lake and Cook counties in Minnesota.

Age group served: Hunger is ageless – we serve all ages

Charge for services: Agencies access products like ground beef from free up to $.18 per pound. Delivery of product is a flat $.04 per pound.

7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday
