1st Place Winners UWS Most Team Spirit Award CASDA MVP Winner Sarah Buckalew
Go 2 Bat 4 United Way Softball Tournament
Campaign Kick-Off 2011-2012
We held our 2nd annual Go 2 Bat 4 United Way Softball Tournament on August 17th 2011. Six teams from Superior Young Professionals, Enbridge, CASDA, HDC, UWS, and United Way competed for awards in Most Team Spirit, MVP, and the First Place Trophy. It was a beautiful day in Superior, WI and many of you came out to support your friends and family. While everyone played a good game we could only have one winner. UWS took the first prize trophy home with them after winning 6 games. Our newest board member Sarah Buckalew received the award for MVP, and our partner agency CASDA took home Most Team Spirit! It was a fun way to kick-off the campaign and we want to congratulate our winners! We want to thank the local businesses that contributed to the event; Super One, Carlson Refridgeration, Pizza Hut, Superior Meats, Walmart, Barkers Island Inn, Steve Olson, and Jim Ross. Thank you to all the businesses and players for making this event such a success.
