WHY EARLY CHILDHOOD LITERACY:
Every child should have the same chance for academic success and families should have the support they need to assist them. When children achieve reading readiness, they have a head start in school and in life.
United Way of Superior-Douglas County’s vision for the future:
Our community works together to ensure children read at grade level.
Strategies for Success

- Connect mentors or other role-models with literacy programs and activities that will make a positive difference in the life of a child
